Perla Journal is one of the main tribunes for scholars of culture and science in Albania. This journal has been published sequentially since 1996.
Perla Journal mainly deals with Albanian-Iranian cultural relations, as well as problems of albanology and iranology through studies, articles, documentary publications, reviews, information and chronicles.

The texts must be written in a computer, up to 25,000 characters in length, with all necessary spaces. The thoughts set forth in the articles are an expression of the views of their authors. The editorial board of Perla journal has the right to edit the articles. Translated materials should be sent together with the original. The articles that are not published will not be returned.
1Albanian-Iranian cultural relationsIn this section there are published research articles of Albanian or foreign authors that have shed light on the relations and cultural exchanges in the field of language, history, folk, cultural and material culture (ethnography, architecture, folklore, mythology, popular beliefs, etc.) between the two nations, addressing their general or specific aspects.
2AlbanologyIn this section there are published research articles of Albanian or foreign authors, which bring new contributions in illuminating issues of linguistics, literature, history, folk culture, archeology, geography (in broad perspective).
3IranologyThis section, through scholarly and informative writings, mainly from Iranian researchers, as well as from Albanians and from researchers of other countries, aims to acquaint the Albanian readers with special aspects of the broad science of Iranology, with the development of this science in Iran and the world and with its significant achievements. Articles on Persian Literature take a considerable space in this section, not only for its most excellent development periods, but also in recent times.
4OrientalisticsStudy articles selected on this section are based on orientalistics, which relates to Albanology and iranology.
5CommemorationsIn this section there are published special articles devoted to distinguished figures of iranology and albanology, which have brought fundamental contributions in the field of literature, science, philosophical thought, history and Iranian and Albanian art. The section also pays attention to the world-famous iranologists and albanologists, especially their anniversaries, making the Albanian readers worthy of their merits, efforts and achievements.
6The book overviewIn this section the reader is informed about the newest titles of books of study and scientific character from the main fields that the journal deals with. The books are mostly recent. In addition to describing their content, assessments on the importance of the studies are also provided, as well as critical remarks.
7Cultural sectionThis section reflects all the cultural, scientific and artistic activities of the Saadi Shirazi Cultural Foundation, as well as other important albanological and iranological events held in Albania and in the Albanian speaking regions.
8NecrologyIn this section, there are published texts dealing with the life and activity of the personalities of the scientific world, who with their studies have left traces and have brought remarkable contributions in the fields of Albanology, Iranology, orientalism, and texts notifying its readers when these well-known persons pass away.
